Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

This has nothing to do with fashion, but I AM equally obsessed about Ryan Gosling ;)

Shailene Woodley strikes a pose wearing roller skates on the cover of Asos Magazine‘s June issue.
Here’s what the 20-year-old actress had to share:
On fame and fortune: “I don’t pay any attention to all of that stuff. I never have. I know nothing about the industry, nothing about the ‘business’ and I intend to always be that way. There are more options coming in for me [since The Descendants], but that really doesn’t affect me, because I will never do a movie I’m not passionate about. I’d rather be in a two-minute scene in a phenomenal Meryl Streep movie than the lead of an action-hero film.”
On her penchant for dark roles: “Movies are where my heart is at. I love dark roles – roles that appear scary. Not in a horror film way, but like Black Swan or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Films that take the audience on an emotional journey. And I would love to play Patti Smith in a film one day – I’m re-reading her autobiography, I’m obsessed with it.”
On criticism of her Valentino Oscars dress: “A lot of people didn’t like it. They were like, ‘she’s 20, she’s covering herself up, why is she doing that?’ But to me it felt classy and elegant and that’s what I think of when I think of the Oscars. It felt simple and elegant and it still represented who I am. Most of my clothes come through friends – this cardigan is two years old and these jeans are my friend’s boyfriend’s.”
On what the future holds: “I’m excited to become a badass archer. I want to be able to shoot a small pen dot on the wall, 20 feet away. I want to be like [The Hunger Games’] Katniss.”

I think the idea of mixing luxury and mass-market fashion is very modern - wearing head-to-toe designer has become a bit passe. It’s a new era in fashion - there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together
I’ve been going into Woolies more and more lately, they have surpassed others in being my favourite South African Retail Store! See some of my Fab Finds:

I have been fully converted to Bobbi Brown make-up (and potentially their Lathering Tube Soap) so I thought I’d share their latest range, Long-Wear Eye Collection. I have the Eye Pencil, and it works wonders! I will be purchasing the Cream Shadow once I have paid off my UK shopping debt ;)
Long-Wear Eye Pencil
The wait is over: for those who want the benefits of Bobbi’s Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in pencil form, here it is. This richly pigmented formula really goes the distance, staying put for 12 hours. Long-Wear Eye Pencil’s densely pigmented formula glides on smoothly, for intense definition that lasts all day, so there’s no need to worry about smudging or smearing. Apply in the morning and wear it into the night.
